Igor Cobileanski was born in 1974 in Comrat, Republic of Moldova. He made his debut as an actor before graduating The National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale” in 1995. His credits include Film, Theatre and Television.
He is the author of several short films, among which Cand se stinge lumina/When the Lights Go Out (2006), Sasa, Grisa and Ion (2006) and Plictis si Inspiratie/ Inspiration (2007), for which he received numerous prizes.
His first feature film La limita de jos a cerului/The Unsaved was awarded a FIPRESCI Prize at the 23rd Festival of East European Cinema in Cottbus, Germany.
She plays her first leading role as Maria in Cobileanski’s first feature film The Unsaved.
