Ada Condeescu receives SHOOTING STARS award in Berlin

Romanian actress Ada Condeescu received on Monday 11 February 2013 the Shooting Stars award, within a ceremony dedicated to young European actors in the Berlin International Film Festival (7-17 February). Ada Condeescu and nine other young actors received their awards from actors Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke.

Other Romanian actors selected in previous editions of the Shooting Stars programme are Ana Ularu, Dragoş Bucur, Ana Maria Marinca and Maria Popistaşu.

Now in its 16th year, Shooting Stars aims to promote internationally the most talented young European actors, facilitating meetings with important members of the film industry.

Ada Condeescu was present in the Romanian Film Festival in London in 2010, for the screening of If I Want to Whistle, I Whistle by Florin Serban.
